Van Hook Sports Performances was designed to give athletes instruction and personal training in performance enhancement in their specific sport. Our 7,000 square foot training facility if dedicated to teaching athletes how to progress and gain strength and speed to develop themselves on the field or court. When an athlete steps on their playing field or court they will each have specific demands or needs, that is why at Van Hook Sports Performance we take care in designing a program based on current research and experience, with this individualized approach to each training session our athletes are getting more out of their training sessions — we understand that all athletes and all sports need specialized and specific attention. Our training begins with a Functional Movement Screen.

Brian Van Hook, MS, CSCS is the founder of Van Hook Sports Performance Training. Brian has been coaching and training athletes at the High School, College, and Professional Level for over 18 years.

Brian received his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Wellness and his Masters in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with an emphasis on Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention.

Brian is certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES).

Brian started mastering his craft in personal training after playing collegiate football and was giving an opportunity to work at one of the nations largest and well know sports training programs, Frappier Acceleration Sports Training the official training center for Football University. Brian is also an official member of the Nike SPARQ Training network and the current strength and conditioning coach for Chris Sailer Kicking sponsored by Nike. The largest kicking, punting and long snapping camp in country.

Brian has worked as a performance coach with 100’s of athlete from around the country and is quickly becoming the go-to-guy for all aspects of sports performance training. What makes Brian different is he is able to bring his personal experience in training and experience on the field to the training program. Brian also encourages athletes coming out of physical therapy to consider VHSP as their next step towards regaining their sports performance. Brian is in the business of building athletes! His ultimate goal is to make you a stronger, faster and more confident person in and out of the athletic arena.
